I suppose the name on the binoculars is "Karl Zeiss" as in the manufacturer of this piece of equipment. The Zeiss factory made lot of very helpfull and high quality equipment for all the armed forces of Germany. I do not think the they made the other inscription you quote in your posting. Probably a crewmember did some "homework". It could even be "homework" done by someone whose interest is only to make more money for this binoculars in stating it supposedley comes from a U-boat.
