Dear Pat,

Further to my earlier message re this topic, if you want to learn more about U-776's voyage from Portland to London and up the east coast, try the following:

"Shetlandimes.co.uk From London to Lerwick. The Final Voyage of U-776"

It's a 5-page article and makes interesting reading. With luck it may allow your uncle to recall some or all of the trip.
