Colonel A. N. Fraser, Royal Army Medical Corps - Deputy Director Medical Services at Fortress H.Q. Gibraltar, 1933-37 received the Third Reich, Red Cross Order, 1937 issue, 1st Class neck badge, gilt and enamel, with riband bar bearing emblem and neck ribbon.
This was for the help given to the German battleship Deutdchland.
After it landed 22 killed and 83 wounded sailors in May 1937. The ship had been attacked while lying off Ibiza.
