<HTML> Dear Sir, Thankyou for the prompt reply to the info I have given you on the missing U-boat position. I was very impressed that your uncle scuba dived the area in the 1970's. The info that you provided has confirmed my info from Kevin Mills, the Prince Edward Island diver about the poor visibility, changing currents, the nets and the outline of the U-boat. What is not established yet, is if this is the wreck of the U-376 or another U-boat.
One thing that impressed me about the info from Kevin Mills is that all the deck hatches are secure and in place. If in fact they are in place at this time, this effectively may seal the sub with artifacts that will be able to identify her. Having hatches in place will help to keep debris out of the inside of it as well and allow divers to go inside the wreck to establish it's identity. Also noted, is that no holes were found on the outside of the U-boat, either in the written description or sketches from Kevin Mills as well as any indication or information from your uncle at this time. All very good news.
Please let me know who the divers are, that intended to dive the wreck this summer, that you described in your previous forum posting. Thankyou again for your reply and I look forward to further information on the identity of this U-boat. Sincerely, 1inCanada</HTML>
