It seems as if we have an elusive U-boat wreck on our hands according to our information gathered so far. In the forum listed above is a response from "Bad Ronbo, Killer Dwarfs" and he says that his uncle has dove on the unidentified U-boat. I'll put a posting back to him to see where his uncle found the U-boat. It's interesting that the water depth does not match the distance out from shore at this point. We have to find out why this does not match. Is it at a location further downshore or upshore from where you dove???? Or as you say, possibly further out offshore???? Time to dig deeper on this one. Nautical charts may be of help and possibly sonar records of the area. Recently in the search for the UB-88 U-boat, the divers used existing Oceanography Sonar mapping of the area to find her.
