I am looking for info on UBoat 96.

My father was a steward aboard the Western Prince (Prince Line) when she was torpedoed by the U96 in December 1940. At 93, he still recalls the event very clearly.

If anyone has any information regarding any of these two vessels, I would appreciate if you could pass it along. In turn, I'm sure my father could do the same.
