locally, at Ft. Devens, Massachusetts USA we also have some german and Italian POW's buried here,, approximately 20, including 1 u boat commander,, as a frequent visitor there i can vouch to the fact the graves are every bit as well maintained as the U.S. graves there, and on one grave in particular there is usually fresh flowers on it.
