<HTML>This sub-thread is a wonderful example how misunderstandings get started. A post gets misread, the point is cleared up and the next poster continues the farce probably because he did not read the original post.

So let me make this crystal clear in simple words and short sentences. Von Rosenstiel is NOT Jewish. The name von Rosenstiel sounds Jewish. The Kriegsmarine bureaucracy discriminates against this good Christian aristocrat by not giving him the Knight\'s Cross, because he has a name which sounds Jewish. Is this finally clear?
