<HTML>The above officer was awarded the Ritterkreuz 12.8.42. His name, like Rosenberg, sounds even more Jewish than v. Rosenstiel.
Rosen & baum were two words used a lot in German-Jewish names

I can not comment on the other three, but poor von Rosenstiel was never going to get the Ritterkreuz, not with that name. It sounds Jewish, although as a VON Rosenstiel he was not. I can just see Goebbels announcing the new U-boat hero von Rosenstiel, he would have problems pronouncing it. The name and the Ritterkreuz were mutually exclusive.
