Hi Maurice and Freddy
I've updated our entry for GANDIA:
The source for the previous complement (88 men, 66 dead and 22 survivors) was Roger Jordan's book about the World Merchant Fleets.
The approx. position 45°N/41°W comes from Rohwer's book about the Axis submarine successes and his source is probably Lloyds. The position you provided (42°45N/53°00W) is too far west compared with the grid reported by the U-boat. Could it be the position where USS BERNADOU rescued survivors?
Best regards
Rainer
