There are a few U-boats off the East Coast that you can dive on. I have dived U-85 and U-352. There are photos on this site of U-352 (inside & out). From the home page drop down the Special Selections list and select The Gallery. Then scroll to the bottom & select Diving Images. Photo Set A & C contain U-352 photos. There are other U-boat photos there as well.

There are also video tapes of U-85 and U-352 available. See the U-boat Movies selection from the Special Selections list. Enter U-85 & it will bring back \"First Blood\" a good diving film about U-85 (inside & out). Enter U-352 and it will bring back \"Sub-Mersion\" a good diving film about U-352 (outside only). I have both movies. There are a number of other U-boat movies there also.

Nova did a special on \"Hitler\'s Lost Sub\" (U-869) which is also available on videotape.

There are a lot of good U-boat movies listed on this site. You can also purchase them through the links on this site. It will not cost you any extra and the site will benefit from your purchase. Note that this is true for books too.

Also find a copy of \"Dive Into History Volume 3: U-Boats\" by Henry C. Keatts and George C. Farr (ISBN: 1-55992-064-5) if you can (it\'s out of print). It has a number of good photos of the East Coast U-boat wrecks as well as the stories of how they got there.
