I characterized Stewarts comments a misplaced generalisation, because there were plenty older and very experienced cdr\'s on the type 7 as well.
I have no problem comparing performance differences between boat types. A faster, deeper diving, more maneuverable, less noisy boat gives a competent cdr and crew a better chance of success than a less capable craft.
