My May trip to Germany

<HTML>I\'m going to Germany this May and among both Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven (to see the Type 21???), I wanted to ask you all where some other places having to do with U-Boats in Germany are located?

I understand in Munich is the studios where Das Boot was produced. That\'s on my list too. I\'ve heard of a \"U-Boat Veteran\'s Assn\" located in Munich. Anyone know about this???

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

This Thursday (March 22), I\'m planning another trip to U-505 here in Chicago. I find that about three tour groups go past me as I just wander the boat by myself imagining what went on at this very spot I\'m standing Unfortunately, the conning tower is unaccessable (Where Kptleutnant Schezch ((sp)) commited suicide)... This really fills my emotions as I stand still when there are no other tourists..and just imagine....listen. I can almost here the yell from the Conning Tower.....\"ALARM!\"
