<HTML>Hi Captain,
Flensburg-Mürwik:- has the Marineschule and there is/was a memorial stone in the grounds where Kapitän zur See Lüth died after being accidentally shot by a sentry. Contact by post etc should enable you to visit that famous naval school
Cuxhaven:- one of the worlds (might I be permitted to say) leading experts on WW2 U-boats is intending to be there late May early June. He is Jak Mallmann Showell. He does know his stuff, believe me. There are lots of other things to visit in that area eg Kiel, Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven etc.
München:- the Deutsches Museum houses the very first German U-boat the
SMU 1. Also there is a German Submariners Assocation originally formed in 1926.
Visit www.commander@uk-muenchen.de for more information. The site is run by a Fregattenkapitän Weber who commanded the U23 and U10 of what was then the Bundesmarine.
www.deutschemarine.de is the official home page of the Germany Navy - you might get some information there.
Good luck
MPC
PS for RB & kpp F.Kapt. Weber hat kein d.R. oder a.D. he is still serving......</HTML>
