There may be something there, but they don't appear to German WWII U-boats (WWI wasn't an option as they didn't operate that far).
According to the new map software here, nothing was sunk off the East coast of South Africa. U-197 was sunk south of Madagascar, but I don't think the Natal Basin qualifies as shallow;-)
Other than that you have U-179 off Cape Town, and not on the new map software, but on the old map section is listed UIT-22, south of that.
Once you dive (but don't touch), post some pictures and someone here may be able to point you in the right direction.
