Hi Peter
I have been looking where possible for information regarding an airfield that existed about 3km east of Kenton-on-sea (South Africa)probably less than a kilometer inland. I would like to know its number if you or anyone reading this, knows (there is the 43rd airschool in Port Alfred). I was told that it was used as a base for u-boat sorties along the coast. Do you know how far up they flew (perhaps this is an airfield half way between PE and East London). And did anyone from this airfield actually find any U boats along the SA coast. Any other information about this airfiekd would be appreciated.
Many thanks
