<HTML>I\'m just reading about the London flying boats built by Saunders-Roe (30 between 1936-38).
I found following sentences in the war diary of the 201 Squadron:
10 September 1939 from Sullom Voe
4 London II on North Sea Patrol to Norway, 1 returned early, 08:20 - 14:00
Submarine attacked at 13:22 in position 2RGB4249
1 London II on submarine wreckage search, 15:35 – 16:35
14 September 1939 from Sullom Voe
4 London II on North Sea Patrol to Norway, 07:15 – 12:50
Submarine attacked at 13:15 PMGB1912
26 September 1939 from Sullom Voe
4 London II on North Sea Patrol to Norway, 06:25 -
Submarine attacked at 09:53 in position 2RL24805.
Can someone tell me how I can find out where the attacks took place?
And probably someone knows the identity of the attacked u-boat? ;-)
Regards
