Hi Fin and Jeff, I got the info from Doenitz\'s Soldbuch--Actung! I don\'t have it! :)

A friend of the forum has sent me some pics of Doenitz\'s Soldbuch and it contains the physical features of him. According to the Soldbuch, the color of his eye is: graubraun, so I translated it into grey brown.

Any further info will be warmly welcomed!

BTW, John, here in China there\'s certain height restriction for a submarine crew as welll as for a pilot (I can\'t remember the exact height, but neither you nor Fin meets the criteria :)), and I wonder whether such restrictions also exist in foreign navies.
