<HTML>Scott,

Unfortunately, no such photos exist. This was wartime propaganda spread by the Germans and fanned by the Americans.

Although a couple of boats neared the New York harbor entrance, none actually entered the harbor proper. Kptlt. Hardegen (U123) got close (the Ambrose Lightship) but no pictures or film were taken.

It was rumored that Hardegen was so close to the city that he could hear music coming from atop the Waldorf Astoria. Hardegen has himself denied this on numerous occassions.

Had there actually been any pictures taken, they would most certainly have had to have been taken at night, and most likely would not have \"turned out\".
