<HTML>You are correct Jeff ! that famous U-boat periscope view of the New York sky line in indeed a fake , it was done by the PK or PROPAGANDA KOMPANIE that used pre-war tourist footage of New York with some black around the edges to look like it was shot from a periscope. The water where that footage would have been taken from would be so shallow that any U-boat captain would be a fool for risking his boat to take such pictures ! </HTML>
