i founded a 37mm gun (i d\'not know if it is a gun of submarine or boat) in front of Saint-Jean-de-Luz (France). the top of the gun was again protected by a cap of strong cloth greased (in good state !); i think that a piece of wood was present behind the cloth to close and protect the orifice of the gun.
