What a moving exerpt you quoted. You\'ve convinced me already to read the book, and I find myself more and more drawn to wartime narratives. As for my term paper, I guess the mark of a good topic is one that encourages personal reading and pursuit of the subject long after the paper is finished. I have a feeling my research won\'t end with my final draft. I never realized how much history and psychology go hand in hand, and how influential both are to understanding life itself. A valuable lesson. Thank you again for your ideas.
