Thanks for your advice. Bur I have two different sights of U-852 beached on the Somalian coast. There is in my opinion no possible confusion in this case as U-852 was stranded by Eck on a rocky coast, and that the self destruct charges blew up the bow and the heck of U-852.
the pics of U-852 are also published in Koop\'s book, p. 123. Though Koop does make mistakes -some of them deliberate- in this occasion he is right for U-852.
I hope he is also right for U-97. Both boats can\'t be confused as U-852 shows clearly the Turmumbau 4 type conning tower, which is not the case for \"U-97\".
Any other ideas ?
