<HTML>Right on!
When I was a young lad during WW2, I heard many choice words far more derogatory than Jap or Kraut for the axis persons. Besides, I haven\'t got the foggiest idea why Germans were called Krauts since for many, many, many years ( even prior to WW2) the per capita consumption of sour kraut in the USA exceeded that of Germany by 2 to 1 or higher. One tends to forget, that ex-Kriegsmarine vets like my father and his buddy Hans (1913-1918) came to the US, became citizens in the 30\'s and worked 7 days per week in the war production factories as skilled machinists to build the stuff that beat the axis.
Then as now we continue to enjoy our sour kraut! I believe the Ubooters got theirs from barrels. We from \"Seneca\" cans or fresh from farmers market barrels - now in plastic bags and Seneca cans (still). Great stuff!!!!
Remember the \"Marshall Plan\"? Without it, plain red flags might be flying over all of Europe today. So US bashing just reflects ignorance on the part of the basher.
When in the US Army during the Korean \"Police Action\" we called the Koreans Rocks (ROK) or Gooks (RONK) and the Chinese \"Chinks\". I wonder what they called us? I really don\'t give a hoot! Touche\'
Hey, now-a-days were all good guys, so cool it! Keep an eye out for UFO\'s and their passengers. You\'ll need a microscope, not a periscope! </HTML>
