<HTML>X-8 suffered from leaks and mechanical failures during the tow and was scuttled.
X-9 was lost with the transit crew when the tow parted.
X-10 started late and suffered from a number of mechanical failures, including her periscope and compass. Before arriving at the target, they heard the charges of the other x-craft explode. They abandoned the attack and returned to the tow submarine. The X-10 was scuttled on the way back to England.
