<HTML>A possible source of difference between the two accounts may be the X-5. It survived the transite and was observed on the way to the target, but it disappeared during the attack. The Germans reported attacking a sub with oil comming up, but no wreck has been found.
X-6 and X-7 successfully attacked. One was sunk and one was scuttled.</HTML>
