Yes, U-534 did have an emblem. It was “The Hunter from Kurpfalz” The emblem is a giant “U” that the tops of the “U” looks like periscopes facing to the left. In the middle of the “U” is a Hunter on a horse that appears to be jumping though the “U”. The hunter has a large hat on, with a tall feather in the hatband. He also has a “blunder blast” type large gun shouldered on his back with a shoulder strap. The word “Kurpfalz” appears under the horse. (Ref. Pg. 118, “U-boat emblems of World War II 1939-1945” by Georg Högel). I have no way to send a picture or photograph.
