Dear T R York
thank for your message. I completely agree with your reasons against the theory of collision. There is no necessity to convince me of an inaccuracy of this assumption. I stated many times, including on this forum, my personal point of view. Except for those reasons which you have resulted in the your message are much not less important facts and reasons refuting collision of submarines.
At the same time I consider, that the first days and hours after tragedy the assumption of collision as one of the possible reasons of accident was enough logical. The problem of collisions existed and continues to exist now. For the last 30 years are fixed 20 authentically collisions of Russian submarines with submarines of USA. The majority of collisions has taken place at shores of Russia near Russian naval bases.
To learn more this problem visit page
<A href=\\\"[www.armscontrol.ru]\\\">Collision of Two U.S. Nuclear Powered Submarines on March 19, 1998
I intentionally have resulted the reference on page which was prepared long before accident of Kursk and could not be linked with it.
