<HTML>When visiting my cousin in Bremen, I tried to find St. Pauli Girl (or Mädchen) there.
Nobody ever heard of it, in spite of it being brewed in Bremen. A couple days later, at a party, I asked the same question. Answer: Oh, yes; that is one of the beers brewed strictly for export to North and South America (Caribean area) in the local breweries old facility which was sold as an operating unit with agreements to stay out of German market. Nobody ever heard of Becks in Bremen either - also made in export version (less than 6% alcohol) at same old local brewery. So if you\'re drinking St. Pauli where do you reside? (I \'ve been thinking Germany?). I like all beer, and the fruit-flavored Belgium beers are a pleasant diversion from the standards like my favorite Lagers. What kind did the Ubooters drink?</HTML>
