<HTML>Sorry Brian as it\'s maybe my soft mentality\'but i would risk my ship to pick up all survivors.

Even today the Bismark survivors say that it was revenge for the Hood that made the British abandon the rest of the crew in the water.

In your defence i know at least one example of a U-Boat launching a torpedo at a escort rescuing survivors from another U-Boat and i will try and find the specific incident tonight.I am also aware of U-Boats who had an easy shot at rescuing ships not doing so.

Of course as in the film Das Boot it would be extremely difficult(though not impossible) for them to cram survivors in to a U-Boat which meant U-Boats in general left allied sailors to die as well.But we know of incidents were sunken U-Boat crews were picked up by another U-Boat so not impossible so maybe in retaliation for this the allies did likewise.

Anyway maybe it\'s just me\'but i would risk my crew and ship to rescue my own enemy from a grusome death.
