<HTML>Hello Everyone,
I\'m not trying to start a flame war here....I\'m really not. But I\'m just curious why birthday, sickness, vacation and other such totally non-U-boat, submarine and war related information needs to get posted here.
Now, granted, from time to time I have asked for some off-beat stuff and have probably posted requests of members that could have been handled better via e-mail, (such as my recent request of a city map from another member) but I have always tried to stay focused on (for lack of a better term) military subject matter. (And by the way, I have now started contacting said member about the map via e-mail.)
I know this is a \"Discussion Area\" but too many people use it like a chat room or instead of e-mail. I guess what I am asking is could we send birthday notices and other such personal things via e-mail and not post it here?
Tony, I am thrilled that it is your birthday, (I have one every year myself)...but do we need to hear about it here??
OKAY EVERYONE! Put down your blow torches and your flame throwers and just think it over...okay?
