<HTML>Just a thought on sources of D/E boats. #1- The French have sold military hardware to the ROC before.(Bunch of Mirage 2000 recently) Might they be involved? #2- How about the Aussies? Be a way to recoup some of the money from the Collins class boats. #3- And seeing the U.S. is just \"brokering\" the deal, aren\'t the British \"retiring\" a batch of their boats? #4- Also could they be looking at getting some of the older D/Es sold as Military Assistance back and having Ingalls, et al revamp them? Offer the current operators help in getting newer boats to replace them? tjk </HTML>
