<HTML>Well it doesn\'t make sense to me, I know that the IXC has diving tanks of more than 240 cubic meters which suggests that that is what it takes to get submerged. This is twice the amount one get when subtracting the surfaced number from the submerged number. It\'s more like the total minus the submerged numbers. But since all the type IXC diving tanks are external the boat isn\'t gaining any weight (water in water) it\'s more like its losing displacement when flooding the external tanks, or I\'m thinking totally wrong here? So by flooding the external tanks it reaches the submerged displacement numbers, but the boats weight is still the same as when surfaced, which means that it shouldn\'t sink. To sink it also has to increase its weight to the submerged displacement and this can be done by flooding internal tanks, but I cant find any internal diving tanks in a type IXC so my reasoning must be wrong.
And that\'s where I am now, lost and confused.
