I bought a book entitled, \"The U-boat Commander\'s Handbook\".
It is a verbatim translation of the handbook given to
\"U.Kdt.Hdb.\" for their training.
As a former Air Force Pilot, after reading thru some of this book, I was pretty astounded by the similarities of this book and some of the material I remember reading as a commander of the KC-135 aircraft and other Officer type duties. It was pretty incredible at such a coincidence.
Anyway, this book is 115 pages long, red cover, soft paperback type although bigger than the standard paperback book, and put out by:
Thomas Publications
PO Box 3031
Gettysburg, PA 17325
USA
I bought mine at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry at their book store near the entrance to the museum.
Hope this helps.</HTML>
