Hi everyone,
My name is Lorena and I'm a freelance journalist.
My grandfather was a Prisoner of War and he was held at Llanmartin camp from August 1946 till 1947. In the diary he wrote once he was repatriated to Italy, he describes his work and his daily life as a POW. It's a fascinating story but unfortunately many details are missing. I was wondering if you know anyone who was living near Llanmartin/Newport during the war. I'll be going there on the 7th -8th of April, so any suggestion about possible people to contact is welcome!
Thanks so much for you help, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Lorena
