Hi all.
I look at a guestbook entry of U 213 (Type VIID) from 5th flotilla in Kiel dated January 24. 1942, depicted on page 27 of Showell's "Wolfpacks at War" ISBN 0711029288.
In the lower right corner of the entry, a person has signed as El medico. I can't find any doctor/Artzt in the crew list pages for U 213 on [www.ubootwaffe.net], and when I search this thread for U 213, I don't get any hits either.
The El medico's name could be Dr. Kegel, but I'm not sure. Eberhard kegel is listed on U 117. Could he have been serving on U 213 for a period as well?
Rgds
