<HTML>I think that\'s why Hitler was a good leader re: the Kriegsmarine. Instead of (disasterously) micromanaging the Kriegsmarine like he did the Army and Luft, Hitler left it to the professionals. Hitler was a superb political gambler, but was generally a bumbler when it came to strategy and tactics. Who knows if he genuinely realized his limitations; the fact is Hitler was at his best as a military \"leader\" when he just stayed out of the way, as he generally did with the KM.</HTML>
