You\'re behind the times a bit. I live just close enough to Charleston that the major discoveries make the local paper. The commander\'s body has been recovered, complete with a gold coin that deflected a bullet (and so saved his life) at Battle of Shiloh. The existance of such a coin had log been rumored and has now been definitely proven (and recovered.)
More difficult to explain has been the sailor found with an ID tag of a Union solider that had some months earlier outside of Charleston...
