Can anybody tell me how many submarines were at Marvika in May 1945 when they saurrendered to the British naval forces, HMS Venomous and HMS Valorous, at Kristiansand.
My father, Lt(E) William Redvers Forster (1900-75), was serving aboard HMS Venomous at the time and I am writing an account of his life.
