Hello Bruce,
My gradfather was on the Huxter in stationed in st Malo.I have even got several pic, s.From what I read she was fist torpedoed by a canadian torpedo boat an the bow was damaged. After the war she went to indonesia were she sunk by accident then called somthing like hao loong. This Info though needs to be checked as only read in the net. The pic are outside inside an at the kay in san malo with some medic trucks. She often went to the channel island, so ther is even a pic of a english bobby policeman with some crew members.
