<HTML>I\'d like to apologise for my two history type posts below for the fact that they contain no:

Nazi Hero worship
No waxing about discredited nazi awards
no birthday celebrations for uboats
no joys about new types and quantities of more deadly inventions during 40-45.

Sanity check intervenes...........

The bloody H word!!!

No Hero worked for uboats the real heroes were university students who died in concentration camps opposing the war. All uboat crews were volunteers. Do you really support Hitlers voluntary people!!! The German Navy had honourable people and commanders . volunteers are volunteers to the day they die.

what I really request is that:

I implore all forum respondents to take the lead from the icelandic boss and talk the facts and not the politics. and if you dont understand this style of comment \"doenitz got a great bag in 3/43 squillion tons(or latest triumphant squeeze)\' is not political then I beg to differ. In the english language it implies support.

Based on the general stuff on uboat net Im not sure anything would be left if we excluded the uboat mutual admiration society. Nevertheless I\'m willing to give it a go

Other than that keep the good stuff going (perhaps the trivia could go to the tech site?)
