It's not he first time our family took such drastic measures to save lives during the Nazis's rule...In fact before the war started some family member help to save Mennonites, Morman's, and Jews. They were sent to a nice camp with the family motto on the front gate,...Jedem Das Sein..."To Each His Own. Or how the Nazi's put it,...You get what you deserve.

I'm hornored to know your uncle had such loyalty to our second Cousin Fredrick! Thank for you post!
