I was wondering if anyone could help, My father was in WW2 serving on HMS Lock More - on the 12th April 1945 it captured a German U-Boat 1024 in the Irish sea south of the Isle of Man, In position 53.39N, 05.03W together with the British frigate HMS Loch Glendhu, The frigate attempted to tow her to port but the boat sank while underway on the 13th April 1945......
My Father managed to obtain the German U-boat clock, I was wondering if you could help with a valuation, or possibly suggest who might be intrested in buying such a clock. As far as I am aware the clock does not work, but after saying that I have never attempted to wind it up so I am not sure if it actually works or not.
Thanks for your time, Kind regards
