Has it never crossed your mind that the Royal Navy might have let you Icelanders \\\'win\\\' the cod wars out of respect for the brilliant seamanship shown by your fellow countrymen and not wanting to be seen defeating such a small navy ?

Both Jak and I are not too far from parts of Essex perhaps a quick beer with some of us would be possible ?
