Please could any member provide me with details of this Officer's later career, i.e. after he left command of U-516?

I am seeking details of his command of the midget submarine (K-Verband) flotilla and of his Base Leader data from January 1945. Details of which flotilla, and where, and which Base, etc would be appreciated. I would also appreciate data concerning his captivity until April 1946.
