Oblt.z.S. Kusch, U 154, was indeed executed on 12.5.44. but the ardent Nazi Oblt.z.S.d.R. Dr. Abel, who denounced him did not live to see this as his U 193 was lost on 28.4.44.

Looking deeper into facts and details, I ask myself - who was the better officer of the two ? Obviously the younger in my estimation.
