My father Ghanshyam Soni, was the 3rd Officer on Helen Moller and was one of the survivors.The ship was sunk approx. 500 kilometers south of Sri Lanka by U Boat 183.A detailed account of the survivors as they drifted on the life boats,as written by another office Eric Seivers to the Admirality is with me ....in case one is interested they may contact me on rajiv53@gmail.com or call me at the cell number given below.
