<HTML>After watching the film, I wondered why they didn\'t show the inside of the boat more.

For example, the damage that was caused by the depth charge that rolled over the side and punctured the boat is clear from the inside near the rear torpedo tubes.

For us \'experts\' it would have been nice to have been shown the Zentrale (and the galley?) in the film too - not just someone\'s mud-filled boot! How about the fact that the top few inches of the inside of the boat were protected from the ravages of the Kattegat and still had their flourescent coating?

I suppose that\'s more to do with how programme makers carry on their art...

Still, a great programme, and as timeless as the subject and The Boat still are.......</HTML>
