Seeking info/picture of U-boat "Normandy?"

Hello:

I am putting together my Great Uncle's autobiography into a book, and he mentions leaving from Kingston, Ontario to Great Britain on a ship called the Normandy, with over 20,000 troops aboard. I can't find any record of this ship online and I am wondering if anyone could direct me to a place where I could find information and a photograph of this ship.
