Monsun Gruppe Question

Hello,

I am very curious to know if there were any attacks on Allied shipping in the Indian Ocean that involved coordinated efforts between German U-boats and Japanese submarines. In other words, were there ever any instances where a U-boat and Japanese sub tracked the same ship at the same time in a coordinated effort involving real-time communication between the U-boat and Japanese sub?

Obviously I know that both U-boats and Japanese subs were operating in the Indian Ocean at the same time, but how close was the cooperation (other than the U-boats operating out of Japanese bases)?

There may have been instances of this that we will never know about.

Anyway, I find the whole concept of the Monsun Gruppe to be fascinating!
